Cooking Indonesian cuisines with PPI Liverpool

This series of post will introduce you to Indonesian delicious cuisines and some Indonesian words. Today's menu is Balado Telor Kentang.


Balado Telor Kentang is a typical Indonesian food made from eggs and potatoes with spicy sauce. Balado is a type of hot and spicy sauce found in Minang cuisine of West Sumatra, Indonesia. Balado sauce is made by stir-frying ground red hot chilli with other spices.




Ingredients:

5 eggs

1 cup fried potato

1 chopped onion

1 tsp garlic powder

3 tbs chopped chilli

2 pieces of lime leaves

1 piece of bay leaf

1 tsp salt

2 tbs sugar

½ cup of water
